Here are the pictures the Hospital took of Taylor. We think they turned out absolutely adorable, but of course we are quite biased.

Two Week Check Up

Here are a couple of pictures of Taylor's first few weeks at home. We went yesterday for her two week check up. Taylor handled it like a champ. I think I was the bigger baby between the two of us. Brad had to hold her while they pricked her foot since I can barely handle my own shots or blood being taken, much less someone doing it to my little girl. She is now 8 pounds 6 ounces and is measuring in the 53% for weight. Her height is now 21 1/2 inches and measuring in the 85% for height. She is literally growing up so fast :)

Taylor's First Visitors

Taylor is a very lucky girl to have so many people who love her. I am so thankful that my Mom, Mama, cousin Ryan one of Taylor's Godfathers, and amazing friend Brooke, who is also one of Taylor's Godmothers were able to be at the hospital when Taylor was born. They endured the entire 18 hour labor and did not complain once. I wish my dad could have made it, but he was kind enough to stay in Fort Worth and watch our three dogs for us. We can't wait for Taylor to meet Grandpa!

My mom, mama, and cousin left on a Tuesday morning and we were lucky enough that Brad's mom and dad were able to come and visit on that Thursday. It was so nice having all the extra help the first week we were welcomed into the insane club of parenthood. Paula was kind enough to do all the cooking and cleaning on her vacation, while I recovered from surgery. Taylor loved having her Grandpa and Grandma Howard and Tanner(Paula & Gary's Yorkie) around, and so did we :)

Miss Taylor Grace Is Here!

We decided to start a blog to help everyone keep up with our growing family, which is an idea we got from Brad's brother and sister in law and loved.  So I hope you guys enjoy it! I will try my best to keep this updated as much as possible.

Of course our first blog is going to be about the newest addition to our little family. On May 4th 2012 our lives were changed forever. For the better of course:) We welcomed our sweet little girl Miss Taylor Grace! After 18 hours of labor which started on the 3rd and an unanticipated c section she came into this world at 1:45 AM on the 4th. She weighed 7 pounds and 13 ounces, and measured in at 19.5 inches. She is truly a blessing that will forever be cherished. We couldn't be any happier! 

We want to thank our family and friends who stuck by us at the hospital the entire time. You guys were troopers for enduring my long labor and delivery.
