Taylor gets her ears pierced

It truly amazes me how lucky we are to have such a brave little girl. We went Wednesday to get her ears pierced and prepared ourselves for some crying and screaming. She barely even flinched! It was quite the process marking her ears for where the holes were going to go since she wanted to see everything that was going on, but other then that everything went smoothly. I had the ladies do both ears at the same time so that I think that helped a lot. The ear piercing came with the cleaning kit and a certificate of bravery with her cute little picture on it. I have to keep the earrings they used in for 6 weeks, but after that I will be able to replace them with her first set of pearls :) I love having a little girl, can you tell?!?
We tried keeping her in her car seat at first, but that didn't work.
I was trying to distract her while they marked her ears, but she wanted to see everything the girl was doing to her.

 All done
 Already smiling!
I was trying to get her attention to take the picture and this was the look I got.

Our little girls is 2 months old

We can't believe how fast our precious little girl is growing, literally :) We went to the doctor on July 11th so a little after her two month mark since it fell on a holiday. She is weighing in at 12 lbs. and 1 1/2 ounces, which puts her in the 75th percentile for weight. She measures at 23 3/4 in., which is in the 89th percentile, and her head size is 39 cm. which is right at the 50th percentile. She also got her first round of shots. Our sweet girl took them like a champ as Brad likes to say. We were so proud of her! I on the other hand acted like a big baby. I actually had to step out into the hall since I was already crying before they even stuck her the first time. It's so hard to think your little one is about to endure any sort of pain and you cannot do a thing about it. Thank God for daddies! Here are a few pictures of Taylor at two months.
 Getting ready to go out
She looks like she's about to punch someone out
Always tugging and lifting up her dresses and shirts. It's cute now, but lets hope she grows out of it :)
 There's that tongue again
About to head to the doctor for her 2 month check up and shots :(

Her swing at Grandpa and Grandma B's house, she loves that thing!
Thank you grandpa and grandma for my swing!

We just love her smiles and giggles!

4th of July

For the Fourth of July we headed down to Fort Worth for the weekend. It was pretty uneventful since Taylor is still so young and we did not want her in such large crowds without her shots. Here are a few pictures of her in her 4th of July outfits.

Thank you Great Grandma Howard for the cute and festive outfit!

Happy little girl!
